Riding History: Kimberly began her riding career before she even knew it. Her mother dedicated her life to producing the best Dutch Warmbloods in the country. Had she succeededSTAFF POSITIONSNot entirely. It takes a long time to get things just right but she continued to try. Kimberly began riding when she was eight years old and fell in love with it. It wasn't always her favorite thing to do right when she got home from a hard day in elementary school but once she actually got in the saddle, she was all smiles. Thanks to her mother's career, Kimberly always had a horse to ride when her level surpassed the level of her horse. Kimberly began competing at the young age of eleven. She wasn't perfect in the least bit and didn't start winning and placing until her second year of competing. When she was old enough, she applied to come to Hollow Aspen and was elated when she had gotten the acceptance letter. She packed up her things and set off for the school that she knew would bring her to victory even though it was in a totally different country. Unfortunately, family trouble brought her back home for a few months. Leaving the school was heartbreaking for Kim but her family needed her. Now, that her family business is all sorted out, she applied to come back and is patiently waiting for a letter.

Example Post: minimum 200 words!Kimberly pulled up to the school that she had missed for so long with her trusty steed, Monster, in the trailer behind her truck. Her parents had come with her to see her off again and make sure she got settled in okay. She had been here before and knew how it worked. She pulled out her letter and read the parts about which team she was on and where Monster would be staying and what schedule he was on this time. Not a whole lot had changed since she had been here but there were differences. Now, it was spring and it was beautiful here. The warm air mixed with a soft breeze made this day so it could not get any better.
She unloaded her horse and gave her parents a hug good-bye. They had taken a different car up here with her so she could keep the truck should she need. it. The family said their good-byes and Kimberly walked Monster to his new stall. She smiled at him softly and said "Welcome home again, buddy." She pet him on the face and gave him a kiss on the forehead. He snorted and she laughed. She turned to go back to her trailer and fetch the rest of his things.
His saddle and bridle were first. She picked them both up and started to walk back to the barn to put them in the tack room. It was much easier now since she knew where everything was and wasn't walking around like a loser with a map. When she reached the tack room, she selected a place for her horse's things to go. She thought about whether or not the friends she had made here the last time remembered her or even missed her. She knew that she had missed them. She then went back out to her truck and grabbed his brushes, blankets and lunge line. It was an armful but it was better than making more trips than she had to. She put each of those items in their proper place. Next she brought in his halter, lead, leg wear and his tail wrap. She believed that it was the last of her things that she needed to bring inside. Then, she could unpack for herself and get settled in to her own living arrangements. Monster had always come first and this was no exception. Kimberly knew that she would have a good time here and that she would learn a lot and hopefully kick-start her own career.
