The day was young, perhaps mid-afternoon. A young boy was wheeling a wheel barrow which was currently empty. He had been here about a week.. And what a roller coaster week it had been! From arriving in a pitch black night and getting little to no sleep, to nearly being killed by a overly aggressive stallion. To meeting a girl who seemed to have some sort of ownership of the stallion to meeting another girl who was his cousin!
Yes, he had a cousin! His dad had never told him of other family members, let alone any that would be going to his school. He didn't know how closely related she was to him, or if she was a very distant cousin. He could understand dear old dad not telling him if she was a very distant cousin.. But she was around his age.. And to be a cousin didn't they have to be like a child of his parents sibling
Grabbing a pitchfork that happened to be there, he started stabbing bits of hay and loading it into the wheel barrow. His thoughts went hay wire as he did so. He had only met her a day ago! How did he even know for sure they were related
By now his hay barrow was half way full, and he noticed he had gotten hay everywhere in his haste and gave a sigh before finishing putting hay in the barrow.. Then he put his pitchfork back and took out a broom, sweeping the floor. He'd just wasted hay, who knows how much of it.. Hopefully nobody would notice.

Was she even a cousin, or a long lost sisterSTAFF POSITIONS
Confusion and curiosity swept over his mind as he came to the fenced in stack of hay. It could be some freak coincidence. Or one of them could have been switched at birth! Okay, so that was unlikely, but still.
