Fingers drummed on the steering wheel as a young female drove into the Victoria. She decided that she wanted to spend the mild sunny spring day at the bay, probably stroll around find something to do and maybe end up at the mall for lunch and a few new outfits. She sighed as she turned the music up enjoying the breeze that surfaced from her window being open. A joyful smile played on her lips as she sung along to Taylor Swifts Red as it played over the radio. She could do this all day, be in her car driving down the roads and singing along to the radio.
Just as the song was ending she was almost to the bay. She turned down the radio and hummed a tune to herself. When she arrived at the bay she found a parking spot and pulled in and shifted the gears to park. She leaned back for a moment before grabbing her shoulder bag and getting out of her SUV. Her thumb hit the lock button before she pocketed her keys and tossed her bag around her head so it hung diagonally across her body. She adjusted her Ray-Bans before she began to head across the park smiling as the sun hit her exposed parts of her body. She fingered with the hem of her gray hoodiee and the belt loop of her jeans as she began to walk her flip-flops hitting the heel of her foot.
When she reached the water she walked to her right for a little ways before she removed her flip-flops and placed her bag on top of them. Inside she grabbed her Nikon Digital SLR camera her parents had got her as a moving gift before she left from New York. Things here were so different, she now lived in a small town where she felt like she didn't fit in. She had to take her style and dull it down a bit. On nights out she didn't but during the day she felt like she needed to in able to fit in with all the locals in the area and not stick out like the America thumb that she was.
