[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,width: 350px; padding: 10px; background-image: url(http://i.imgur.com/w6MZf.png);] some day you're going to wish i was here Dark eyes glanced silently around the unfamiliar terrain. The stable was a new place and she had very little efforts to go explore more. Now her mind was fixated on one thing. A small shiver ran down her spine as lungs inhaled the fresh crisp morning air. Glancing down at the blackberry she noticed the time. 10:30am. Taking a deep breath her paddock boots crunched the frozen gavel as she paced eagerly. Her father and her weren't on good terms so he figured he would give her one of the best things. A horse. If she wasn't so nervous of what her father would send her, this moment might be excitable. A whinny from the distance distracted the females anxious brain. In the distance was a rider and their horse, who was rather defiant and refusing to cooperate. A small frown tugged at her features as Elena shook her head quietly. The struggled between rider and horse always bothered her, but she tried greatly to brush it aside. Turning away from the battle in the distance, Elena rested her back against the tall fence of the roundpen as she thought about the large hauling unit that was going to being showing up any time. She wore a simple black soft shell jacket that had a small logo on the left chest. JF with a jumping horse. A great friend of her was Jonathon Field. He was famous for his natural abilities to deal and cope with struggling horses. Something she envied. it was then the long ten horse 2004 horse trailer pulled in with the small semi. Quickly straightening Elena took a nervous and stressed step forward. Catching herself wrapped in the excitment and anxiety of the new horse, she took a deep breath. Containing the large amount of mixed energy she had toward the beast within those four walls. A short brazilian male stepped out of the semi and walked toward Elena with a large smile. A well known stable hand to her. She quickly greeted her, but the curiousity was killing her. She had to know what was rampaging violently in the back of the trailer. "He's a handful Elena. Beautiful... but he's um..." the crashing of hoofs within the trailer sent a dark gloom over the blonde. What was she given, was it even a horse STAFF POSITIONS Elena took a deep breath and nodded { name.. STAFF POSITIONS !} she asked quickly as the moved with ease and speed around the trailer prepping the unload of the inpatient stallion. "Zamiro." the stable answered awkwardly as he looked at elena and nodded. She returned his nod with a nervous smile and he went in. The crashing of the trailer sent her stomach into a frenzy. "open! open the door!" Elena herd the stable hand yell and she quickly opened the door. Before she could even catch a glimpse of the stable hand to ensure his safety a large silver grey beast came flying out sideways. Hooves never even saw the ground before he was out of the trailer. Shocked Elena quickly watched as the older stable hand got jerked out of the trailer. Her mouth dropped as she went to approach the stablehand, however, his biggest worry was containing a very spirited animal. Elena quickly jogged to the round pen gate, avoiding the spinning and dancing animal as she watched the animal chase the stable hand in. { oh my god! are you okaySTAFF POSITIONS } Elena panicked as she helped the stable hand out of the round pen. The tall beast galavanted around the pen, striking out in the air, an aggressive energy expressing his emotions. The stable hand nodded as he watched the dark dapple grey run his laps. The lead rope barely dangled at his knees after it snapped as he stepped on it. Elena watched in horror as this animal was hers. She could barely control her emotions let alone a horse that was mad at everything. She inspected his toned body. He was gorgeous. His mane easily reached his shoulder and curled in every direction. His forelock was a tangled mess but still hid his eyes. He looked untrusting, looking as if he had his own problems with every person. The halter he wore had teeth that dug into his nose blood trickling down to his nostrils. Elena looked at the small rope halter she had bought him and took a deep breath. what am i going to do with this... she thought quietly as she listened to the stable hand grasp for air. this was now her responsibility.... her responsibility if someone was going to get hurt. Elena thanked the stable hand who was now leaving the barn. She was alone. The air was cold, but she was burning up. She didn't know what to think, what to do. She wasn't sure how to work with such an animal. Elena took a deep breath and watched the stallion. He showed no signs of exhaustion. His body was sparkling with sweat beads as he lapped the round pen, screaming out to the world every now and then. He ignored Elena who watched the large grey dance around the round pen. His gates were breath taking. She had to get in there and somehow get him into a stall. Elena bit her lip anxiously... someone was going to get hurt.... words: 1079 - tags: stephanie - outfit: link |

Click. Clack. Clickity, clack. Such were the simple sounds being made on this chilly morning. A young man had taken his horse out on a trail ride, though it was more the horse trotting rather then walking most of the way. He didn't mind, he was letting Storm have free reign for now, with just a little guidance to keep her on the trail. He'd been out over an hour, having gone down the path that ran through the forest.. And then he had circled to come around the forest and cut through the grass.. It had led him back to where the pastures were, and as he passed by the group turn out at a trot he heard a whinny near him. It caused Storm to stop and prance nervously in place a moment. Reaching down to pat her neck, he whispered, "Easy girl. Nothin' to worry about." He heard her puff of air as she snorted in response. Ears placed backwards, her muscles relaxed as he moved his hand to her ear and scratched gently. A smile came to his features as he realized she was calming down. With a gentle bit of pressure she started off again at a trot. He passed two arenas, and took a mental note of where they were at for future reference. His attention was hardly on his surroundings for long, though. For soon he noticed how eager Storm seemed to explore. This was all new to him, but he hadn't realized just how it might affect Storm. He rode with one hand loosely on the reins, noticing how she seemed to take in everything about the new place and get jittery whenever someone passed by too fast. It was about then he noticed a small figure in the distance, looking more like a shadow then a person from where he stood. Probably due to the sunlight. As Storm kept trotting forward, his eyes remained on the figure that he was nearing. About twenty feet away, on the corner of the barns driveway. His eyes were still on the girl, who seemed even more interesting now that he could get a better look at her. A roaring motor caught his attention and he looked up to see an older trailer coming down the driveway and turn into the parking lot. He watched as a stable hand came out and seemed to interact with the girl he had been watching. A thunderous sound of hooves on metal made his heart leap to his throat. The girl opened the door of the trailer.. Uh oh, this couldn't end well... It happened as soon almost before he saw it coming. The horse bolted from the trailer and put up a fight as it entered the round pen. A beautiful dappled gray, running wild like a caged animal set loose. He didn't hesitate to kick Storm into a canter and approach. He pulled her to a stop just before he reached the fence. He watched Storm dance nervously, tail held high and watching the stallion with vigor. Storms body suddenly rushed forward, towards the fence, she pawed at the ground when she couldn't get past the gate. It was only then he realized she might be in estrus. Dismounting, he tied Storm to the fence and approached the duo, eyes warily on the stallion. "Some horse you got there." He said as he approached, though his tones showed he didn't mean it as an insult. "He has heart, I'll give him that." Storm whinnied to the beast in the pen, tossing her head as her attention went to Max. "Lots of it." He said more to himself then to the duo. Max walked back to Storm and stroked her neck, "Not today girl." He whispered, then looked back to the duo. "I'm Max. And this is Storm. Her full name's Midnight Storm, but everyone back home just called her Storm or Stormie." His eyes landed on the girl, he looked at the stallion once more and noticed the halter. "Its a custom, isn't it STAFF POSITIONS Never seen one with those sharp teeth on it." He looked to the stallion and noticed the blood on its nose. "Doesn't it hurt the horse STAFF POSITIONS " He asked, then quickly said, "Sorry, I just don't know all that much about some horse stuff.. I'm more the guy who goes by what his heart tells him about horses.. Not all this technical stuff."

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,width: 350px; padding: 10px; background-image: url(http://i.imgur.com/w6MZf.png);] some day you're going to wish i was here "Some horse you got there." the deep sound of lyrics entered her mind. clearly, the man was talking about the rampaging satan tat was sent my devil that had successfully broke a railing of the round pen. Just as the unknown voice entered her mind, so was the goodbye of her old friend. She simply nodded to the stable hand who left silently. Her eyes didn't remove themselves from the bronc. The male's voice was edgy, much like how she felt. { yeah....} she said quietly. socializing wasn't one of her best things, let alone when she was scared speechless. this animal was a killer, whether anyone else would accept it, she knew someone was going to die with such behavior. Suddenly she remembered she wasn't alone when his voice mumbled lowly once again. "I'm Max. And this is Storm. Her full name's Midnight Storm, but everyone back home just called her Storm or Stormie."her neck snapped toward the unknown male, completely forgetting he was there. embarrassment flushed her face as her chilled face went a deep rose. groggy steel blue eyes landed on the male with a nervous glance, before giving an awkward smile. { um.. Max! } her voice suddenly grew louder as she lunged toward the male, violently placing to arms on his shoulders and pushing with everything she could. The golden grey stallion had his harks flat against his skull as the equine jumped at the fence, bearing teeth aims at the male. The sudden impact of the horses head snapped the railing of the fence once again. She watched silently in horror as the jaws of the animal snapped before retrieving into the pen. her face pale with fear. What was this STAFF POSITIONS what was her father trying to prove STAFF POSITIONS { oh my goodness, I'm so sorry... like.... this... this isn't even a horse! } she said out of fear and frustration. Her emotions were mixed violently as she turned to look at the broken railing. taking a deep breath, elena returned to Max, the new face that she had viciously just shoved away from the fence. The long golden forelock of the stallion hid the majority of his face. catching her breath, elena looked back to max, anxious to here a reply. She kept an aware eye on the stallion as she comprehended everything that had happened. He had mentioned something about the halter and she only had nothing but negative remarks on the halter. { its an awful piece of equipment isn't it...} her voice had trailed off silently as she watched her new horse continue to bash around the round pen. fear still froze her body and her thoughts, almost as if she should be a robot of some sort. hatred for her father grew even more as she thought about how damaged the stallion was, and now how damaged her new boarding facilities round pen was. elena was just thankful that the male was alright. {i'm uh Elena Kennedy... this is my new mount...} she said awkwardly. there was no pride, there was nothing but hatred and fear of the horse. He was so pretty though. his long curly golden locks splaying over both sides of his neck, even in a tangled mess he was gorgeous. His tail dragged aong the round pen floor and and was simply breath takes in appearance and with the fiery personality. words: 756 - tags: max - outfit: link |

As he commented on her horse she gave a vague response "Yeah." She was obviously upset, and he could easily see why. Her horse was a deadly force, but how had he gotten that way STAFF POSITIONS Was the horse even broken in STAFF POSITIONS Oh wait, the stud had a halter on him. He looked again and noticed the blood on the horses nose. His attention went back to the girl as she looked at him, her face a shade of red and gave him a nervous smile. He heard his name but barely listened as he was deep in thought. Was she blushing STAFF POSITIONS Why STAFF POSITIONS But before he had time to think about it further, the horse was lunging towards him, the girl hastily pushing him back with surprising force. He stumbled a few steps back hastily, watching in sheer horror as the horses weight broke the railing. Storm meanwhile reacted with a chilling whinny and a hoof stamping into the ground. "Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry..." Came her hasty apologies. He was meanwhile getting deeper in thought again. Had something made the horse like this STAFF POSITIONS He was obviously trained, maybe not too well but trained at least to have a halter on him. But what had happened to this horse.. Had this behavior come from.. abuse.. STAFF POSITIONS She spoke and he snapped out of his thoughts, "... like.... this... this isn't even a horse!" So she evidently didn't like this horse.. Maybe it wasn't even her horse STAFF POSITIONS Confusion as to if she owned this horse and how it had come to be here came to his mind. He didn't think her the type to abuse the horse, but he had to be sure. Making a comment about the halter, her response made it clear of her opinion on it. "This horse might have had a rough past.. Who knows what he's been through to make him like this...." He looked at the horse a moment, then back to her. Storm had calmed down, she was now lifting her tail and prancing in place in an attempt to get the studs attention. Max however was focused on the girl, who introduced herself as Elena Kennedy. A smile came to his lips, he looked at her. "With a bit of patience he could be a great horse, I bet." He said, honest but at the same time trying to cheer her up. He smiled and said, "Be right back." He went to the barn where his locker was and grabbed his lead rope and spare halter. He walked back over to her and said softly, "Do you need any help STAFF POSITIONS "
