Example Post: minimum 200 words!Being in America was definitely a culture shock for the young man known as Malcolm. Being raised in Ireland by a very powerful man had made him almost seem spoiled at times. Growing up, he would get whatever he wanted and his father made sure of it that he did. But there was always something about his father that he was curious about. He almost always seemed to be very in charge of situations. He was an even toned man unless he was angry and when that happened, Malcolm made sure he wasn't around. His father scared him to death, especially when he was angry. He would get a look in his eyes that frightened the hell out of him and still did to this day. However now, Malcolm new the truth behind his father. Not only was his father a powerful man but he was the most well known Irish drug lord of Ireland and surrounding areas.
Death became a thing that dominated his life. Once Malcolm turned a teenager, his father wanted him more involved in the family business. When a kid, these things scared him but as he grew older, it became normal. It became just another day in the Hall's life. Malcolm would always have guards around him or hiding close by to protect him. He was his fathers heir and his father would do anything to protect him from other competition. Malcolm grew up thinking this was normal. However, the older he got, the less he liked seeing death all around him. It pained him to see men shot and tortured for what his father was doing.
That brings us to where Malcolm is today. The handsome young Irishman has somehow found his way to North America, New York to be exact. He wants out of the family business but his father, his father isn't so keen on the idea and wants to try to convince him to stay. However, Malcolm is having nothing to do with it anymore. He wants to go to school. He wants a normal life. Yet, to this day, even though he has left that all behind, he is still being hunted. Not only by his father to bring him home but by other mobsters and drug lords. They want to bring his father down and they know how much his father loves him and would kill Malcolm knowing what it would do to his father. So Malcolm is always looking. Always keeping his eyes open and ears listening to everything around him.
The subways weren't exactly the young Irishman's favorite thing to do but he liked going later at night because it was quiet and less busy. He was not a fan of large crowds as people could hide in them and seem like just another person. Malcolm had no idea what the people looked like that were after him, he just knew they were. He was in slight contact with his father but nothing that told his father where he was to give a clue to anyone. It had been weeks since he actually had spoken to him. And he would keep that silence going for now.
Making his way down the stairs to the subway, he had on a dark grey sweatshirt over a lighter grey longsleeve shirt. His pants where a light grey soft jean with some dark brown shoes. He wasn't exactly the most stylish person but he didn't care. It was late and it was getting cold. As he got closer to the bottom of the stairs, his eyes were already scoping out the area. Malcolm didn't many people at all waiting for the train. But his eyes did land on a young woman but something seemed off. She almost seemed scared out of her wits with being down there. He honestly didn't blame her though, subways gave him the creeps. He finally hit level ground and headed towards the woman. He didn't want to scare her though so he didn't come up from behind or beside but tried to come from around in front. Malcolm was a bit aways from her still but put a concerned look on his face before he spoke out to her, his Irish accent thick and his voice smooth. "Are you okay missSTAFF POSITIONS" He hoped he didn't startle her but from how she was acting, he didn't think that mattered too much.
