Cara smiled happily as she walked through town. Tribune Bay was on the other side and Cara had decided to visit the bay when she was done riding. It was quite hot today and maybe a small swim wouldn't be bad. Cara had her swim suit on under her clothes.
It didn't take long for the beach and water to appear in front of her. There were quite a few other people were laying on the sand tanning themselves. Cara set her bag down and pulled out a towel. She set it down and put her shorts and t-shirt on it along with her bag. She grabbed her sunscreen and quickly lathered it on.
Cara sat down on her towel and pulled out one of her favorite books. The Sight by David Clement Davis. She was big on fantasy books. She was in the middle of the book and flipped to page 198. She continued reading, the sun beating on her back and head.

Tis Alright xD ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kate has only been here for oh, a couple hours. She laughed softly at that thought of being here for only a couple hours. When she arrived here, what caught her eye was the Tribune Bay. She wanted to just relax and maybe take a swim. She already was changed into her swim suit under her tank top and shorts.
As she walked down to the bay, she looked around. Listening to the ocean waves crashing on shore. She was holding her tote bag that had her sunscreen, sunglasses, phone, a good book, and a towel. She made sure she didn't forget anything as she walked down the beach the sand tickling warmly on her toes, and she was wearing flip flops.
She didn't see where she was going and almost walked over a girl who was sitting on a beach towel, reading a book. She glanced at the cover, and read it softly. 'The Sight'. She then shyly said. "Oh, I'm sorry to intterupt your reading..." She then walked around her and sat in the sand beside her. "I'm Katherine, or Kate. I'm new here.." She added with a small smile. |

Cara jumped in surprise as someone almost ran into her. Cara bookmarked her page and set it down beside her. "Oh thats fine! Nice to meet you. I'm Cara, Cara Sommers," she explained smiling at the girl, "I'm pretty new too. Hey don't you ride at Hallow AspenSTAFF POSITIONS "
Cara stuffed the book back into her bag and pulled out her cell phone quickly checking her text messages and notifications. She was missing all her old friends but knew she would make new ones here.

Kate smiled as she introduced herself. "I like that name, Cara... It's pretty unique.." She commented with a soft laugh. She then answered her other question about riding in Hollow Aspen. "Ya, I do. What about youSTAFF POSITIONS " She said turning the topic over to her. Hopefully if this conversation goes somewhere, Cara might be her first friend here in Hollow Aspen. She dug in her tote bag and grabbed the sunscreen, she lathered it on herself as she waited for her response. She got out her beach towel, layed it on the sand and sat on it and smoothed it out on the bumpy sand. |

Cara smiled at Kate commented on her names. "Yeah I do. What about youSTAFF POSITIONS Kate had asked her. Cara nodded, "Yes. I have just brought Nimo my horse here." She put her phone back into her bag and sighed as the sun soaked into her skin.
