For thousands of years horses were mere servants to the race of man kind. They pulled wagons, carried people, paraded around in degrading costumes, dealt with abuse... All this changed when the meteor shower struck. The humans died from the radiation, but horses thrived. Those that developed powers quickly dubbed those without slaves, and forced them into their herds. A select few viewed themselves above others and dubbed themselves gods. They are the over lords, the peace keepers. Either for or against slaves, they watch over the lands of Cattivo and defend it from threats.
