Aimee atsrted riding at a horse trading barn in Cleveland Texas and developed an effective but defensive way of riding early on. Aimee is proficient at starting horses and fixing problems in a very gentle way but is the first to admit she can not sit a buck to save her life.

Example Post:
A soft click of her tongue, a flick of her wrist to send the lead rope upward and a pont of her right hand and the small filly left in a soft jog around the round pen. Both the woman and filly gave a small cough at the excess amount of dust that rose upward and never seemed to settle here.
"Whatcha doin Tinkerbell"
The petite brunette stepped back from the middle of the round pen and the filly drifting into an easy stop, still perpendicular to her. She turned to the face of the voice and gave glare although her mouth twitched upward with amusement "Aimee will do fine you know Jim. I was going to start Lexus here although the dust has other ideas."
Aimee turned away and let Jim to her own devices, making an arc toward the filly's hip. She kept a steady gaze on it with just a hint of leaning into it. Nothing. The filly gazed out to her buddies in the nearby pasture. She mumbled to herself, both to get her attention and to vent frustrations about people "What is it with people, round penning like yahoo's and getting control of the shou-"
The filly looked her way and Aimee shut up and took a stop back before giving gentle praise "Exactly my dear. Now lets try again." She gave that steady gaze to her hip again, clucked her tongue and took another step in, standing at an angle to her hip. Nothing. Aimee clucked again and she took a step forward. Patiently she took a step back, stepping just large enough to put some pressure in front and discourage forward motion. Another cluck and the same response reacted to by a step back. This continued about a quarter way around the round pen before she filly took a step in. Aimee stepped away from her and was given another step. "Progress but not what I want. I've been bucked off of plenty of horses that I could move their shoulders but never a one that I could that hip. Go on mare, move over" Aimee spoke in a soft tone as she took a step in toward her hips and the shoulders followed after her, that back hoof staying planted in the ground. Aimee made a bit larger circle and the hind end had to move. The second the hind right hoof crossed over her left hind Aimee removed the pressure "What a smart little girl!" She moved in again and a couple moments later she crossed over again. Aimee retreated again. Another ask and the response was swift, another ask and another step before the release.
Neither were breathing hard and in Aimee's mind they had accomplished enough for a small water break in the Texas sun. Both had a fine layer of sweat and it burned Aimee's eyes, contacts and dust and sweat never did mix well. Aimee left the round pen closing the gate behind her and retreated to the shade where a cooler and conversation awaited.
"Why'ja stopSTAFF POSITIONS"
Aimee rose an eyebrow as she grabbed a waterbottle and plopped down in a lawnchair. "Texas hasn't gotten the memo it's supposed to cool down and i'm hot. Besides she got the point. I'll Go back to her in a minute."
