Goal for HA: My goals here at HA are probably fairly typical. I want to promote myself, to learn and to grow as a person. I want to be able to get to the next stage with my riding, as it's very important to me and something I'd love to spend my life doing. I'd love the chance to exercise my social skills, not only in that I would be making friends, but connections that could help me for my entire lifetime. I feel that attending would help me make the change my life needs.

HOME LIFE...
Parents: Trina Selene Arterberry && Henry Cale Arterberry
Siblings: Sara Bethany Arterberry - 16 years old
Other: A 2 year old son named Rooney who has leukemia, currently being looked after by his grandparents.
Riding History: I began riding at age five. I'd always been obsessed with the pony rides at the fair, and my father would joke that we had enough pictures of me on the ponies to fill an entire scrapbook. My mother would laugh, and eventually I did have a separate scrapbook just for pictures of me and horses. At five, my father got me lessons. I was pretty good and quickly moved into the more advanced lessons. I've always rode Western, but a few times I tried out English. I much prefer Western.
When I was thirteen I got my first horse, a beautiful Paint mare. She wasn't anything too flashy, but she was a joy to ride. I did a few very minor competitions with her, and did pretty well. I got into barrel racing about that time, too. I had her for years. Then, when I was seventeen, and about to go onto higher ranking shows, I got pregnant. I quit for a while, only riding when I had the free time after Rooney was born. He's two now, and although he's got leukemia, he's currently in remission, and my parents have told me it's time for me to sort out my life and so gave me the okay to apply to HA.

RL Horse Experience: I've rode for about five years on and off now, although I've never owned my own horse or shown.

Petra nodded and followed Charle, keeping her head down for the most part. As much as she loved the other smiths, she was in a hurry and there was no time for more drawn-out good-byes. She was glad when they got out of town, and listened closely to the other guardian.
"I've heard about Miramossa...It sounds interesting. I hope I do see a mirage, really. Have you ever been thereSTAFF POSITIONS" Petra couldn't help but be curious, it was in her nature. Her desire to explore the world was strong, and since Miramossa was nearby, she had often thought about visiting it to see what it was all about. She never had, though.
The young girl listened carefully to the explanation about Pokemon spies. It was useful information, and Petra kept her eyes peeled for the remainder of the trek. As they got outside of the city, she began noticing some wild Pokemon. None of them seemed particularly exciting, but Petra knew it was important to train, and the Oddish was something she could be interested in.
"If you don't mind, I'd like to try out a battle." Petra smiled a bit, turning her attention to the Oddish. "Go on, Avalon. Start it off with a Growl."
