Goal for HA: Really, the only thing he wants to do is keep up with his child support, pay his bills, and teach his students. It's as easy as that. Of course, he's a teacher by day and an artist by night but still, it's been working out for him rather well. He also wants to help 'troubled' students find the right path, having been there himself, but he won't admit it. He's gotta keep up that 'I-don't-give-a-fuck' attitude.

Riding History: Despite contrary belief, he wasn't born around horses. He was a troubled kid, growing up. If you've ever seen the movie Holes, you could compare his situation to that. He got into trouble left and right then the court gave him an ultimatum: go to juvie or go to a horse ranch for troubled youth. Naturally, he took the ranch, although he did his fair share of complaining. They didn't just have him ride. He also had to take care of the horse they assigned him and nurse the equine back to health.
At first, he complained and accused the ranch staff of dumping their work on him. After two months of being on that ranch, he came to a point where he never wanted to be parted with the abused gelding. Horses and all things related became his passion, even if he doesn't look or act the part. When it finally came time for him to part ways, he almost begged the people to let him stay or buy the horse. Of course, they said no and just like that, the eighteen year old Giovanni was parted from 'his' horse. Ever since then, he's almost made it his mission to help as many troubled souls as possible while also working with equines.
