Riding History: 20 years legit riding experience. Grew up in the saddle but started real training as an eight year old by his dad. His father taught him everything he knew from horsemanship to cutting and reining. Chris was always at his side learning everything hands on. His family was as normal and calm as it could get. Every weekend they would attend the local ranch rodeo and spent their nights with friends around a campfire behind their barn. Raised with southern gentle kindess and southern hospitality, Chris grew up with his friends as the go-to guy for everything. Every chance he got he would be helping and giving lessons to people about horsemanship and riding. Soon people noticed his ability to train even the most 'untrainable' horses, even people, and he then began his career his horsemanship with the goal of teaching both the horse and rider how to better their relationships with each other.
He attended college in Weatherford, Texas for horse training and riding instructor school, and in that time won the national Extreme Mustang Makeover three times, also winning other horsemanship shows all over the southern US.

ABOUT YOU...
Age: 18
Years RPing: Too many
RL Horse Experience: enough
Example Post:An unruly yearling colt entered the round pen, nostrils flaring as he noticed a man in the middle of the arena with him. Chris kept his expression calm as the colt danced around the outside, wide eyeing the array of onlookers surrounding the fence. After a moment he began to settle and eventually slowed to a halt. Ever so gradually the tall Texan man made his way to the yearling's side and caught his halter to attach a lead rope. Staring, the colt slightly flinched and flicked his tail nervously. "As you see, this colt seems to have barely any ground work let alone much time around man." Chris announced to the crowd as he picked up a long whip in the other hand. "There are many routines in ground work you need to accomplish in order to gain trust between you and your mount. What I am about to show you will do just that while allowing your horse to get accustumed to being touched." Chris added as he stroked the sorrel colt's forehead.
At the yearling's side Chris faced his rump, lead rope in the closest hand and whip in the other. He then gently set the rope end of the whip over the horse's back and stood still as the colt slightly stepped to the side. Letting out a soothing coo to the colt and stepped toward him as he took the rope off his back. Bringing the whip to his side he then brought it back up and flicked it onto the yearling's back, repeating the event numerous times from the neck to around the back legs. At first the colt flailed in a flinch every time the rope landed on his back, yet now he stood there quietly with his head down fliching now and then. "You can tell how calm the colt is now from before, which is exactly how you want your horse to be."
Chris then walked back to even himself with the colts rump and turned to face in the direction the horse was standing. "Gently do this routine several times, always going in a pattern. As you and your horse began to gain more trust you will eventually get to where you can flip the whip randomly anywhere." He continued his series...
