Other: Unknown
Riding History: Melissa has been riding ever since she was able to climb onto the horse with her parents. The first time she was ever on the back of a horse was when she was only 3 years old. Her father had hoisted her up onto his tall, Brumby horse and he had taken her out for a short ride. Lissa loved the feeling of being up high on the back of one of those magestic creatures.
Throughout the years, Mel was seen around the barn of her parents's stable either taking care of the horses or riding them. She was taught to ride English style because her mother thought western was way too easy to learn. Her mom had always been the strict riding teacher in her life and her dad had always been the riding teacher who would teach her by showing her and giving her fun challenges. Mel's mother eventually sent out an application to Hollow Aspen so that her daughter might get accepted into the boarding school. She was overjoyed when Mel got accepted.

Example Post:Melissa sipped her coffee and smiled, letting out a happy sigh. "Nothing like so coffee to wake you up in the morning, huh, BlueSTAFF POSITIONS" she asked the dog, scratching her behind the ears.
Easy let out a bark as he heard the sound of hooves coming from the trails. Blue's ears flicked up and she barked too.
Watching as a horse and its rider came into view, Melissa smiled. It was Eric McConnor, the jockey from the track. She had helped him get his job down there since she knew the manager of the place. An even bigger smile crept upon her face as he waved to her. "Morning, Eric!" she called to him and waved back.
He was a nice guy. And not that bad looking either. she thought. Melissa took her coffee mug and walked out to the barn. She needed to give Clue his food anyway. "C'mon, pups." she said to her dogs. Easy and Blue jumped off the porch and trotted in front of Mel as they all headed for the barn.
Mel walked into the barn, boots tapping against the hay covered concrete floor. Country music was playing at a good volume over the barn's indoor speaker system. It seemed to keep the horses at ease.
She went into the feed room, filled up one of the buckets with the correct ammount and kind of food for Clue, and headed down to his stall. "Hey, buddy. How's my handsome boy doin'STAFF POSITIONS" she asked the stallion as she came up to his stall. The tall, chestnut Brumby horse lifted his head, ears up right. He nickered at Mel as she approached his stall.
Melissa smiled and opened up the stall door. She poured his feed into the small trough in the corner of his stall and went back out of the stall for his grooming tools that hung on the small hooks Mel had installed on the door. Lissa grabbed the curry comb and body brush then stuck the mane comb into her pocket. She re-entered the stall and walked up to Clue's left side, patting him on the shoulder.
A small puff of dust came off his shoulder, causing Mel to cough. "I forgot you were rolling yesterday." she coughed as she began to curry the dirt out of his coat.
She looked over and blushed when she realized that Eric's horse's stall was next to her own horse's. Please don't notice me. she thought. Girl, you know you want him to though!
Mel continued to brush the dirt out of Clue's coat until he was clean. "There you go, boy." she said to the stallion as she began to comb out the tiny knots in his mane. Lissa had always taken particular care of Clue's mane and tail. She liked to keep them smooth and not knotty. Once his mane was free of the knots, she moved to Clue's tail, brushing out the knots that were there as well.
