He needed to stay in shape so that he could do things with Polly. So that morning he had gotten up at around five in the morning, putt on some jogging shorts, bright orange in coloring and a white shirt. His running shoes where worn in. White and black with a dark blue check mark on them. After a small breakfast of a banana and making a bottle of water that he put in a holder before putting the strap of the holder over his shoulder, he left his house. His lovely new house that he had put a lot of time into. He loved having a place of his own, but it was rather lonely in it. There was enough room to build on it, but all he wanted would cost him around twenty-one thousand dollars to do. He didn't have that kind of money. Not yet a ways.
As he jogged away from he home he went down a forest trail. Having left his house around six in the morning, it was a now about seven and he wasn't even done. A good long jog was a great way to start the day off. Making his way around one of the paths that would lead him back towards his house he didn't know of the coming danger. He just kept on running, taking a drink of his water bottle every now and again.
ooc: For the name in hat thing.

••• I’ll take the shame, lust to blame. What if we ever meet againSTAFF POSITIONS •••Our eyes were bright, out of sight. Two strangers caught behind the night.
Avery arrived at the barn early in the morning to try to avoid the summer heat. After parking in the shade she hopped out of her car and into the mild heat. She could just tell it would be scorching by this afternoon. Oh autumn, please come sooner.
She walked down the barn aisle and to her dappled grey's stall. The gelding popped his head up from hay he was nibbling on when he heard the brunette approaching. "Hey Storm. How's my boy doingSTAFF POSITIONS " She cooed as she unlatched the stall door and slipping inside after grabbing his halter and lead. Stroking his neck, she slipped the leather halter over his head and buckled the side. Storm's ears flickered back and forth curiously as the teen led him from the stall and over to the cross ties.
The barn was quiet and she was the only one around, minus a stable hand she had passed in the parking lot. It was actually quite calming to be alone at the stables. Just her and her horse. Storm stomped his hoof impatiently as she groomed him. Oh shush, you. Finishing up with the curry comb and flick brush, she moved on to picking out his hooves.
After the dappled grey looked presentable, Avery put her grooming tote away and quickly tacked Storm up. The gelding puffed out his stomach when she tightened the girth which caused her to have to tighten it a few separate times. He didn't grasp the fact that he was a horse, not a pufferfish.
Avery led him out to the mounting block and swung on, pointing him in the direction of the trails. They had been cooped up in the arena all week working on dressage and pole work so the teen was ready to get out and have some fun on the trails. It was usually pretty empty this early in the morning so they could probably even gallop a bit. The brunette needed do some interval work with Ghost to prepare him for the upcoming cross country season.
They started out in a working trot after warming up and then moved into a canter. The forest trails were gorgeous and shaded by tall, full trees. Ghost crow hopped excitedly. He had definitely been getting barn fever. Avery gathered up her reins and moved into a two point, clucking her tongue and urging the dappled grey into a gallop. He happily obliged and shifted into a ground eating pace. A grin spread on Avery lips as they picked up speed. She loved the rush galloping brought on.
Avery felt a pang in her leg and looked down to see what was wrong. When she looked back up a guy jogging had come out of nowhere and Ghost was closely approaching him. Look out! She yelled, hoping the guy didn't have headphones in as she tried to yank Ghost off to the left.
